The 777 Trilogy by Blut Aus Nord [REVIEW]

This trilogy was interesting coming from one of the most mysterious black metal composers out today. It’s dark just like black metal should be, but Blut Aus Nord decides to play with the formula a little bit which if you know me then you know that I love that stuff. Each album is a continuation but not a repeat of the last.

They end up with a very interesting trilogy here that I am reviewing as a whole and I’ve tried to listen to it straight through a couple of times, but perhaps it’d be better to listen to them as if they were three separate albums. If you’re a fan of black metal and you don’t mind an artist pushing the envelope a little then this series is for you. If you’re just a corpse paint druid fool then you won’t like what Blut Aus Nord are doing here.
