Jozef Van Wissem – I Simply Did Not Know Who He Was…

…sort of sucks this whole music is available everywhere crap. Strolling through my daily blog reading and music listening I came across this article from NPR music telling me how prolific Jozef Van Wissem was over the last decade.

He plays the lute.

Being the kind of person I am and not knowing anything about the lute it made sense to listen to it. The 11 minute song linked below is wonderful. The music is so dark and so pretty at the same time, it’s a wonderful contrast. It’s a worthwhile piece to invest 10+ minutes into and one that will inspire me to check out his other music. The track below is called “Where You Lived and What You Lived For.”
