Marvel’s Avengers

Listen I know I’m supposed to be cool indie guy who watches foreign movies and art films and all that BS, but what can I say about Marvel’s Avengers? It was fun, plain and simple. There were a lot of super heroes bashing things and saving the world and destroying property. No it didn’t get to the moral complications of Batman, it didn’t explore what it means to be a super hero or explore the darkness within the characters. IT WAS JUST FUN. That’s all, I’m not any better for watching it, I’m not any smarter, I didn’t get any deeper. All that happened was I had fun.

If you want to have fun, stop being a pretentious crybaby and go watch the Avengers.
